Kovalevsky Institute of Biology of the Southern Seas NAN Ukraine (Sevastopol) has been publishing "Marine Ecological Journal" since 2002.ISSN: 1684-1557 (Paper)

"Marine Ecological Journal" welcomes reviews and original articles, brief reports and notices containing new data of theoretical and experimental investigations in the field of marine ecology, data on distribution of animals and algae in the World Ocean, results of complex studies of marine and oceanic ecosystems, works in the field of hydrology, hydrochemistry of the World Ocean, as far as methodical papers, discussions, book reviews, information and reports about scientific meetings, etc. "Marine Ecological Journal" is referred by international information system on Aquatic Science and Fisheries Abstracts (ASFA), Ukrainian information system "Djerelo", all-Russian Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of Russian Academy of Sciences (VINITI).
