In this journal are published original papers and reviews, short reports which contain new data of theoretical and experimental investigations in marine ecology, materials about conformity to natural laws in distribution of animal and vegetable organisms in the World Ocean, results of complex study in marine oceanic ecosystems, publications in hydrology, hydrochemistry, molismology of the Word Ocean and others. Materials of scientific discussions, methodical elaborations, information on conferences, reviews and others are also published.

This journal is recommended to ecologists, oceanologists, hydrobilogists, radiobiologists, geographers, scientific workers of other adjacent professions and as well as post graduate and student concerning appropriating scientific and trade association. Papers are published in Russian, Ukraine and English languages. All articles are accessible with full-texts
